Fine Art Instruction

Classical Fine Art Instruction is more than a 'luxury'. It strengthens cognitive skills, improves concentration and focus, develops fine motor skills and coordination, and encourages critical thinking and analysis. It is also an excellent way to build self-confidence and lessen stress through creative expression.

Like Classical Music instruction, Christine's art program is designed to introduce children and adults to basic and advanced skills in drawing and painting. Parents should be aware that these are not 'crafting' classes and that a fairly high level of concentration and discipline will be required.

If you are interested in art classes, please e-mail the instructor so that you or your child can be put on a waiting list and notified once schedules are made up. If your child is new to the program, his/her skill level may be evaluated according to a rubric so that they may be placed accordingly into Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced Classes. *Prices for lessons will vary depending on skill level, age and class size. Supplies are a separate cost and may be ordered through the instructor. Students may also wish to borrow supplies from Christine's personal collection for a fee.

ONE-ON-ONE ART LESSONS: $25 - $40 for 1 hour of instruction.
